S Sumur MW-03 di lapangan MAWAR ini termasuk dalam struktur Middle SarangMS-03 yang merupakan reservoir gas dengan tenaga dorong depletion gas drive.Pada awal mula sumur berproduksi pada November 2011, laju produksi gassebesar 32.7 MMscfd dan laju produksi air 32.28 BWPD dengan tekanan kepalasumur sebesar 1748 Psig. Sumur terus berproduksi hingga pada bulan Maret2014,sumur mulai mengalami produksi air yang meningkat menjadi 139 BWPDdan terus mengalami peningkatan produksi air hingga bulan Agustus 2016 denganlaju alir produksi air sebesar 1958 BWPD dan laju alir gas turun hingga 8.04MMscfd. Sumur diindikasi telah terakumulasi air yang menyebabkan sumur mati.Sumur kembali dihidupkan dengan cara menurunkan tekanan kompressor dipermukaan. Namun dengan cara ini produksi air meningkat secara signifikanhngga 4392 BWPD. Air berlebih yang terproduksi ini sangat sulit di lakukan watertreatment di fasilitas produksi. Penanggulangan yang dilakukan adalah dengancara menutup zona MS-03 dan melakukan additional perforation lapisan MS-04dan lapisan MS-05. Dengan kegiatan ini, sumur dapat kembali berproduksi denganlaju alir air sebesar 1178 BWPD dan laju alir gas sebesar 4.6 MMscfd

M MW-03 Well on MAWAR field is categorized in Middle Sarang MS-03 structure which is a gas reservoir with depletion gas drive mechanism. At the begining of the production period in November 2011, the gas flow rate was 32.7 MMSCFD and the water flow rate was 32.28 BWPD with the wellhead pressure 1748 Psig. The well is countinued to produce, then in April 2014 the well began to experienced high produced water which the water production increased to 139 BWPD and continued to increased until August 2016 with the water flow rate 1958 BWPD and gas flow rate decreased to 8.04 MM SCFD. The well was indicate has a liquid loading problem because water had been accumulated cause the well to shut in.The welll was back active by reducing the compressore suction pressure from. After reducing the compressor suction pressure the water production was increasing much more siginificant up to 4392 BWPD. In this case, the produced water treatment facility is not capable to treat all the produced water from the MW-03 well and also from another well. The well should be optimize by water shut off the MS-03 zone and adding the perforation to the MS-04 or MS-05 Zone. By doing this optimization option, the well now is continue to produce with water flow rate has decreasing to 1178 BWPD and gas flow rate is 4.6 MMscfd.
