B Body detector adalah sebuah alat yang dapat mendeteksi keberadaan manusia melalui sentuhan. Alat ini bekerja dengan memanfaatkan medan listrik yang terdapat pada tubuh manusia. Secara keseluruhan, alat ini terdiri dari sebuah sensor berupa lempengan konduktor, rangkaian pendeteksi (terdiri dari multivibrator astabil, non-retriggerable multivibrator monostabil dan rangkaian diode charge pump), rangkaian komparator, rangkaian multivibrator monostabil, rangkaian indikator dan rangkaian catu daya.Pada saat sensor tersentuh atau didekati oleh manusia frekuensi gelombang yang dihasilkan oleh rangkaian multivibrator astabil akan berubah . Perubahan ini menyebabkan frekuensi gelombang yang dihasilkan oleh rangkaian non-retriggerable multivibrator monostabil ikut berubah. Hal ini akan mengakibatkan perubahan tegangan yang dihasilkan oleh rangkaian diode charge pump . Karena adanya perubahan tegangan yang dihasilkan oleh rangkaian diode charge pump maka rangkaian komparator akan men-trigger rangkaian multivibrator monostabil. Setelah mendapat trigger, rangkaian multivibrator monostabil mengaktifkan rangkaian indikator.Sensitivitas alat ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh jenis dan ukuran sensor yang digunakan serta kondisi lingkungan sekitar terutama temperatur dan kelembaban udara . Jadi apabila alat ini ditempatkan di suatu lingkungan barn dengan temperatur dan kelembaban udara yang berbeda dengan sebelumnya, maka potensiometer yang terdapat pada alat ini perlu di-set agar dapat bekerja dengan baik. Hal ini berlaku juga jika digunakan sensor dengan spesifikasi yang berbeda dengan sebelumnya .

B Body detector is a device which can detect the presence of human . This device works by using human electric field. Body detector consists of sensor unit , watch dog circuit (consists of astable multivibrator, non-retriggerable monostable multivibrator and diode charge pump circuit), comparator circuit, monostable multivibrator circuit, indicator circuit and power supply circuit.When sensor unit touched or approached by human, the wave frequency whichproduced by astable multivibrator circuit changed . This change cause the wave frequency which produced by non-retriggerable monostable multivibrator also changed . This cause the changing of voltage which produced by diode charge pump circuit. Because of there is different voltage which produced by diode charge pump circuit, comparator circuit will trigger the monostable multivibrator . After triggered , monostable multivibrator circuit turn on the indicator circuit.The device 's sensitivity is greatly influenced by the type and size of sensor unit and environm nt condition specially the air temperature and humidity . Thus if this device placed in the new environment which has different air temperature and humidity from the origin place, the variable resistor should be adjusted . The variable resistor also should be adjusted if this device uses sensor unit which has different spesification from the old one.
