B Ban berjalan merupakan penerapan sistem otomatisasi pemindahan barang yang telah banyak digunakan dalam bidang produksi, karena ban berjalan berfungsi untuk mempercepat pendistribusian barang dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya, sehingga hal ini akan meningkatkan kwalitas dan kwantitas hasil produksi. Tetapi kecepatan ban berjalan tersebut dikendalikan agar tetap stabil terhadap bobot yang berbeda-beda. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu pengendali (controller) untuk mengendalikan kecepatannya agar tetap stabil terhadap bobot yang berbeda-beda.Tugas akhir ini membaha s tentang peran cangan prototipe dan sistem ban berjalan , serta simulasi dan penganalisaan sistem berupa grafik kecepatan putar motor DC terhadap waktu untuk bobot yang berbeda-beda apakah sesuai dengan set point yang diberikan , yaitu90 rpm. Bobot yang digunakan sebagai bahan percobaan adalah anak timbangan yangmemiliki berat 1, 1.5, dan 2 kilogram. Simulasi pengendalian kecepatan prototipe ban berjalan menggunakan software komputer Visual Basic 6 (VB 6) dengan algoritma PID (Proportional Int egral Deri vative) dan teknik trial and error.Prototipe ban berjalan menggunakan motor DC 24 Volt yang dihubungkan dengan roda-roda Iainnya untuk mereduksi kecepatan putar motor DC. Selanjutnya, untuk menghubungi roda conveyor yang satu dengan roda conveyor yang lainnya digunakan conveyor belt. Conveyor belt inilah yang dikendalikan agar memiliki kecepatan yang stabil bila diberikan bobot yang berbeda-beda.

C Conveyor is an application of transportation automatic systems that has been used in many industrial sectors, because it can accelerate distribution of goods from one place to another places, so both quality and quantity products will be increased. But, the speed of conveyor should be controlled in order to get stable speed for different weights. So, the conveyor needs a controller to control its speed.This final assignment discusses about not only how to make the prototyp e conveyorand its systems, but also the simulation and analyze the systems through the graphics of the rotation speed of DC motor towards time for different weights whether the same or not with the set point, where the set point is 90 rpm and the loads are 1 kg, 1.5 kgs, and 2 kgs. Simulation for controlling prototype conveyor speed used Visual Basic 6 (VB 6) with PID algorithm and trial & error method.The prototype conveyor uses 24 Volt DC motor that to be connected with the otherwheels in order to reduce the rotation speed of DC motor. Then, conveyor belt is used to connect each com•eyor wheels and should be controlled in order to get the stable speed for different weights.
