P Pada trauma atau kerusakan jaringan dapat menimbulkan respon stres. Respon stres tersebutdapat terjadi karena keadaan seperti syok, trauma operasi (Sectio Caesarea), anestesi dan kegagalan fungsi organ yang multiple. Akibat respon stres tersebut dapat memicu terjadinya peningkatan kadar gula darah. Analgesia Subarakhnoid Blok di duga dapat mengurangi terjadinya peningkatan kadar gula darah. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskripsi analitik. Sample ini dipilih secara Consecutivesampling. Jumlah sampel 20 orang, pasien sectio caesarea usia 20-40 tahun, dengan kriteriatertentu. Sampel diberi Analgesia SAB dan pengecekan kadar gula darah arteriol di ukur 3kali yaitu: 5 menit sebelum anestesi, 1 jam setelah anestesi dan 6 jam setelah anestesi dengan menggunakan alat Blood glucose Easy touch. Menggunakan uji statistik (uji normalitas data), uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks tidak terdapat perbedaan kadar gula darah yang bermakna yaitu perbandingan kadar gula darah 5 menitsebelum anestesi dan 1 jam setelah anestesi didapatkan p = 0,000 nilai tersebut <0,05,perbandingan kadar gula darah 5 menit sebelum anestesi dan 6 jam setelah anestesi didapatkan p = 0,537 nilai tersebut >0,05. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan kadar gula darah yang signifikan pada pasien pre dan post operatif Sectio Caesarea dengan Analgesia Subarakhnoid Blok.
