N Nano kalsium merupakan modifikasi kalsium yang memiliki peran penting dalam proses pembentukan tulang dan gigi. Pembentukan gigi yang kuat dipengaruhi oleh asupan kalsium yang cukup baik semasa neonatal dan pascanatal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kalsium secara oral yang telah dilakukan modifikasi fisik dalam bentuk nano partikel yang diberikan selama masa kebuntingan dan laktasi dalam mempengaruhi kekerasan gigi pada anak tikus (F1). Pengujian partikel nano menggunakan uji Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), sedangkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian nano kalsium terhadap gigi dilakukan percobaan dengan membagi menjadi 3 kelompok perlakuan yaitu tikus kontrol, tikus perlakuan nano kalsium selama kebuntingan, tikus perlakuan nano kalsium saat masa laktasi, kemudian uji kekerasan gigi tikus (F1) dengan menggunakan alat uji kekerasan mikro vickers. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SEM dengan perbesaran 1.000x menunjukkan bahwa ukuran partikel serbuk nanokalsium memiliki kisaran nilai Ë‚ 1000 nm. Uji kekerasan pada tiap kelompok percobaan dapat dilihat angka kekerasan yang dihasilkan dalam satuan Hardness Value (HV). Berdasarkan uji statistik menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna (P<0,05) pada masing masing kelompok perlakuan, hal ini membuktikan bahwa pemberian nano kalsium pada tiap kelompok perlakuan memiliki hasil yang berbeda-beda. Pada penelitian ini kelompok kontrol memiliki nilai kekerasan gigi yang paling rendah, sedangkan tikus perlakuan nano kalsium selama laktasi memiliki nilai kekerasan gigi yang paling tinggi.

N Nano calcium is the modified version of calcium which has an important role in bones and teeth forming process. The formation of strong teeth is affected by sufficient calcium supply during neonatal and post-natal. This research is intended to understand the effect of supplying physically modified calcium in nano particle form through oral during pregnancy and lactation period in the teeth hardness of baby mice (F1). Nanoparticles are tested using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) test, whereas to understand the effect of supplying nano calcium to teeth, an experiment with three different groups of treatment which are: mice control, mice with calcium supply during pregnancy, and mice with nano calcium supply during lactation is performed, after that the hardness of the mice teeth (F1) are tested with micro vickers testing tool. Based on the analysis of SEM with 1.000x magnifying, it shows that the particle size of nano calcium powder is around < 1000 nm. Hardness test on each experiment group can be measured with Hardness Value (HV) unit. Based on the statistics, there is a significant difference (P < 0,05) on each treatment group, the result prove that supplying nano calcium to each group resulted in distinct values. On this research, the control group has the lowest teeth hardness value, on the other hand, the group of mice with nano calcium supply during lactation has the highest hardness value.
