N Nyeri leher adalah gangguan kesehatan yang kerap membayangi profesi-profesi tertentu yang harus berdiri cukup lama atau profesi yang mengharuskan seseorang duduk berlama-lama. Ketegangan yang terjadi pada otot leher selain membuat seseorang tidak nyaman, juga berdampak pada produktifitas bekerja. Walaupun kesehatan kerja dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, tetapi bagi orang yang memiliki intensitas pemakaian komputer tinggi, komputer menjadi faktor penyebab gangguan kesehatan yang paling tinggi.(2) Tujuan penelitian ini adalah adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan durasi penggunaan komputer dengan nyeri leher pada pegawai kantor BPKAD Haltim. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi cross-sectional yang diikuti oleh 76 pegawai kantor. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara pembagian kuesioner yang meliputi usia, jenis kelamin, keluhan nyeri leher, intensitas nyeri, dan durasi penggunaan komputer. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Chi-square dengan tingkat kemaknaan p<0,05. Prevalensi nyeri leher pada pegawai kantor adalah (68,4%) dengan intensitas nyeri ringan (32,9%), sedang (34,2%), dan berat 1 (1,3%). Nyeri leher lebih banyak pada wanita (71,4%) daripada laki-laki (65,9). Nyeri leher juga lebih meningkat pada usia lebih dari 30 tahun (76,0%). Analisis dengan menggunakan uji chi-square, didapatkan hasil yang bermakna antara Durasi penggunaan komputer dengan nyeri leher (P = 0,000). Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara durasi penggunaan komputer dengan nyeri leher.

Tension that occurs in the neck muscles in addition to make a person feels uncomfortable, and also affects their work productivity. Although occupational health is affected by many factors, but for people who have a high intensity of computer use, computers can become the biggest cause of health problems.2) The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the duration of computer use with neck pain at BPKAD Haltim office employees.METHODThis study is using cross-sectional study followed by 76 employees of BPKAD Haltim office. Data were collected by means of questionnaires that included age, sex, neck pain, pain intensity, and duration of computer use. Data analysis was done by Chi-square test with significance level p <0,05.RESULTThe prevalence of neck pain in office workers was (68.4%) with mild pain intensity (32.9%), moderate (34.2%), and weight 1 (1.3%). Neck pain is more prevalent in women (71.4%) than in men (65.9). Neck pain is also more increased at the age of more than 30 years (76.0%). Analysis by using chi-square test, obtained a meaningful result between the duration of computer use with neck pain (P = 0.000).CONCLUSIONThis study shows the relation between duration of computer use with neck pain.
