P PT. Sharp Electronics Indonesia merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang elektronik. Terdapat permasalahan pada salah satu bagian lini produksi yaitu pada bagian pengelasan di departemen refrigerator dimana operator sering mengalami keluhan sakit pada seperti pada bagian punggung, pinggang, leher dan pergelangan tangan hal ini diakibatkan postur kerja yang dibentuk operator yang tidak ergonomis sehingga dapat berisiko menyebabkan cidera Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memperbaiki postur kerja untuk mengetahui risiko MSDs yang dialami oleh operator dan memberikan usulan intervensi ergonomi untuk mengurangi risiko MSDs yang terjadi tersebut. Keluahan sakit yang dialami operator kemudian divalidasi dengan menggunakan kuesioner Nordic Body Map, diketahui operator mengalami keluhan rasa sakit terutama di bagian punggung, pinggang, pergelangan tangan kiri dan pergelangan tangan kanan. Untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko ergonomi yang terjadi pada keempat operator dilakukan pengukuran dengan metode REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assesment) dan QEC (Quick Eposure Checklist). Berdasarkan pengukuran REBA diperoleh skor akhir 7 dan 8. Pengukuran dengan metode QEC diperoleh nilai exposure level sebesar 70.37, 67.28% dan 64.19%, maka tindakan yang harus dilakukan perlu penelitian lebih lanjut serta melakukan perubahan untuk mengurangi risiko ergonomi yang terjadi. Tindakan yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi risiko ergonomi yang terjadi dengan membuat alternatif usulan perbaikan. Alternatif usulan yang terpilih adalah perancangan kursi kerja adjustable. Pemilihan alternatif ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner pemilihan alternatif usulan yang disebarkan kepada operator pengelasan dan pihak perusahaan yang terkait. Setelah melakukan perbaikan dilakukan perhitungan nilai tingkat risiko ergonomi dengan metode REBA untuk mengetahui perbandingan tingkat risiko sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan yang dengan menggunakan software Manequin Pro. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan skor akhir REBA yang dilakukan setelah perbaikan didapatkan nilai skor akhir REBA yaitu 2 yang dikategorikan risiko rendah, nilai ini turun dari sebelumnya yang bernilai 7 dan 8. Penurunan skor REBA ini menunjukkan bahwa menurunnya tingkat risko MSDs yang terjadi pada operator.

Based on the final REBA score calculation done after the improvement, the final REBA score score is 2 which is categorized low risk, this value is down from the previous 7 and 8. The decrease of REBA score indicates that the decrease of risk level of MSDs happened to the operator.
