R Rangkaian paket peristiwa tektonik dari waktu ke waktu (evolusi tektonik)yang pernah terjadi di Area Musi Rawas dan sekitarnya, memperlihatkan adanyadua fase gaya utama yang pernah berkerja, yaitu Ekstensi periode Paleogen dan Kompresi kala Pliosen-Plistosen. Aktifitas tektonik ekstensional Paleogenmenghasilkan fisiografi bawah permukaan Area Musi Rawas berupa tinggian dandalaman, yaitu Tinggian Paleo Musi di bagian Tengah yang meluas ke arahselatan, Dalaman Benakat Gulley di sebelah timur, dan Dalaman Pigi/Klingi diSebelah Barat. Sedangkan aktifitas tektonik kompresional kala Pliosen-Plistosendiperlihatkan oleh blok-blok yang terlipat, terangkat hingga terpatahkan/terinversidengan arah umum baratlaut-tenggara. Fisiografi yang dihasilkan dari peristiwatektonik tersebut menghasilkan enam macam tipe konsep exploration play di area ini; (1) Thrust/Inversion Related Structure; (2) Sub-Thrust/Inversion RelatedStructure; (3) Basement Fracture; (4) Main Anticlinal Trend; (5) StratigraphicTrap (Associated with seismic unconformity); dan (6) Build Up Reef. Analisispetrofisik dari data log sumur Andar-1 menghasilkan tiga interval reservoir; (1)1601m - 1607m (net pay = 6m, ϕe = 0.1752, Sw = 0.445); (2) 1691.2m - 1696.2m (net pay = 3.4m, ϕe = 0.1872, Sw = 0.457); dan (3) 2150.5m – 2156m (net pay = 4.6m, ϕe = 0.1515, Sw = 0.437). Di Area ini, terdapat tiga prospek terbaik yang dimatangkan dan dilakukan perhitungan cadangan yang berasosiasi dengan tipe play Thrust/inversion Related Structure dan Main Anticlinal Trend. Perhitungan cadangan menghasilkan total Recovarable Resources (P50) sebagai berikut; Prospek 1 = 81.5 BSCF, Prospek 2 = 60.8 BSCF, Prospek 3 = 22.6 BSCF.

A A series of tectonic events from time to time (tectonic evolution) that everoccured in Musi Rawas Area and surroundings, showing the existence of twomajor force phases. There are Paleogene Extensional and Plio-PleistoceneCompressional. Those two major phases resulted the subsurface physiography of Musi Rawas Area into Higher and Deeper blocks. As the results of PaleogeneExtensional major force phase, there are Paleo Musi High located in the centerand widen to the southern of observation area, Benakat Gulley to the east, andKlingi Deep/Pigi Trough to the west. And the results of Plio-Pleistocenecompressional major force phase, showed by newer blocks with northwestsoutheast general trend that folded, lifted and even inverted/thrusted. Those subsurface physiography which resulted by series of tectonic events, provided six exploration play types in this area; (1) Thrust/Inversion Related Structure; (2) Sub-Thrust/Inversion Related Structure; (3) Basement Fracture; (4) Main Anticlinal Trend; (5) Stratigraphic Trap (Associated with seismic unconformity); and (6) Build Up Reef. Petrophysical analysis of Andar-1 log data provided three reservoir intervals; (1) 1601m - 1607m (net pay = 6m, ϕe = 0.1752, Sw = 0.445); (2) 1691.2m - 1696.2m (net pay = 3.4m, ϕe = 0.1872, Sw = 0.457); and (3) 2150.5m – 2156m (net pay = 4.6m, ϕe = 0.1515, Sw = 0.437). In this Area, there are three prospects which considered as the best prospects that observer has evaluated. Two of the prospects are related to Thrust/Inversion Structure play type, and the rest of them is related to Main Anticlinal Trend play type. Those chosen prospects are proceeded to hidrocarbon in place calculation, with total Recoverable Resources (P50); Prospect 1 = 81.5 BSCF, Prospect 2 = 60.8 BSCF, Prospect 3 = 22.6 BSCF
