P Perananan baja dalam dunia industri saat ini sangatlah penting terutama dalam hal pembuatan komponenpada mesin perkakas seperti bed, headstock, toolpost, modular fixture, dll. Pada penelitian ini akanmembuat pin dowel pada kerangka Modular Fixture berupa baja silindris dengan material S45C dandiproses menggunakan mesin bubut tipe C404T, mesin gerinda permukaan tipe KENT KGS 250 AHD danperkakas bantu gerinda silindris Punch Former tipe PFC. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pemeriksaankeajegan atau mampu ulang perkakas bantu gerinda silindris dalam memproduksi pin terhadap diameter,kesilindrisan dan kebulatan pin. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Laboratorium Proses Produksi FTI USAKTImelalui proses Turning dan Grinding dengan Aluminium Oxide sebagai jenis abrasif, menggunakan SolubeOilsebagai cairan pendingin dan menggunakan batu gerinda jenis White Aluminium Oxide. Kebulatan dankesilindrisan diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur Roundness Tester dan menggunakan alat ukurMikrometer Sekrup untuk mengukur diameter benda uji. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan akanmenunjukkan keajegan atau mampu ulang perkakas bantu gerinda silindris terhadap dimensi benda uji.

T The role of steel in the industrial world today is very important, especially in terms of making components on machine tools such as beds, headstocks, toolposts, modular fixtures, etc. In this study, we will make dowel pins on the Modular Fixture frame in the form of cylindrical steel with S45C material and processed using a C404T type lathe, a KENT KGS 250 AHD type surface grinding machine and a PFC type Punch Former cylindrical grinding tool. This study focuses on examining the consistency or repeatability of cylindrical grinding tools in producing pins against the diameter, cylindricity and roundness of the pin. This study was conducted at the FTI USAKTI Production Process Laboratory through the Turning and Grinding process with Aluminum Oxide as an abrasive type, using Solube Oil as a coolant and using a White Aluminum Oxide type grinding stone. Roundness and cylindricity were measured using a Roundness Tester measuring instrument and using a Screw Micrometer measuring instrument to measure the diameter of the test object. The results of this study are expected to show the consistency or repeatability of cylindrical grinding aids to the dimensions of the test object.
