P Penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan di PT. HOLT KARYA SAKTI, Jl. Majapahit no. 775 km 11,5 Semarang. Perusahaan ini bergerak di bidang pembuatan berbagai macam sarung tangan sebagai produk utamanya seperti : ski gloves, snow board gloves golf gloves dan batting gloves sebagai produk utamanya. Di samping itu perusahaan ini juga memproduksi berbagai macam produk tambahan lainnya seperti : syal, topi, jaket. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan saat ini adalah perusahaan sering mengalami kekurangan material tertentu dalam proses produksi, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan belum mempunyai perencanaan produksi yang baik. Masalah ini terjadi karena perusahaan hanya menggunakan perkiraaan saja untuk memesan bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan dalam proses produksi. Dengan keadaaan seperti itu perusahaan juga mengalami kesulitan untuk memenuhi permintaan konsurnen yang disebabkan oleh terhambatnya proses produksi dalam perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk Golf Gloves clan Batting Gloves. Untuk mengatasi masalah di atas, maka pada Tugas Akhir ini dibuat perencanaan produksi yang dimulai dengan perhitungan data-data penjualan 41 bulan yang lalu untuk meramalkan 12 bulan berikutnya. Karena data-data yang ada menunjukkan pola trend, maka metode peramalan yang digunakan adalah regresi linier, regresi kuadratis, Double Moving Average(DMA), dan Double Exponential Smoothing (DES). Hasil peramalan tersebut dijadikan sebagai input untuk perencanaan agregat. Perencanaan Agregat dilakukan dengan metode Trial dan Error, yang terdiri dari Chase Strategy, Level Strategy dan Mixed Strategy. Perencanaan agregat ini dibuat untuk masing-masing jenis sarung tangan yang diamati. Dari perhitungan yang ada didapatkan bahwa mixed strategy memberikan total biaya minimum , dengan total biaya untuk Golf Gloves adalah Rp.120.610.916,00 sedangkan untuk Batting Gloves adalah Rp. 120.428.983,00. Dari jam produksi yang telah disediakan oleh perusahaan untuk tiap jenis sarung tangan yang diamati maka hasil perencanaan agregat dapat langsung dimasukkan ke Jadwal Induk Produksi (JIP). JIP yang ada harus diuji terlebih dahulu kelayakannya apakah dapat diterapkan di perusahaan atau tidak, maka dilakukan perhitungan Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) dengan pendekatan Capacity Bill. Ternyata semua kapasitas yang tersedia dapat memenuhi kebutuhan. Lingkah terakhir adalah melakukan perhitungan perencanaan kebutuhan bahan (MRP). Pada tugas akhir ini perhitungan perencanaan kebutuhan bahan menggunakan 3 teknik yaitu Lot for lot(LFL), Economic Order Quantity(EOQ), dan Period Order Quantity(POQ). Hasil perhitungan MRP yang memberikan biaya minimum adalah PU piping Rp. 12.656.870, Coll elastik Rp. 7.936.700, Lycra Rp.892.600, BZ digital A Rp. 4.290.300, Velcro Rp.945.850, Wappen Rp.5.220.000, Pile elastik Rp.7.152.600, BZ digital AR Rp.2.746.444, Magic tape Rp. 3.307.431, Leather C Rp. 5.700.340, Wet silk Screen Rp. 6.720.000 dengan menggunakan teknik LFL atau metode POQ dengan Toptimal = 1 periode.vi
T This research held at PT. HOLI KARYA SAKTI, J1. Majapahit no. 775 km 11,5 Semarang. The company moves in the gloves making such as : golf gloves, batting gloves, ski gloves and snowboard gloves as it main products. Beside the company also produces many kind of addition product such as : neckwarmer, hat, and jacket. At this time the company is often lack of certainty material in the production process, the situation shows that the company do not have a good production planning. It can be happen because the company only used their prediction through their experience to order the material requirement for the production process. With this kind of condition the company is also having problem to meet the consumer demand because the company can not continue the production process for a while until it have enough material to be process. This research is specifically for golf gloves and batting gloves. To overcome these problems it is necessary for the company to make a production planning, in this final assignment the process started with the calculation from 41 months ago of selling data to forecast the next 12th months period. The data indicated the trend pattern, therefore the suitable forecasting method are linier regression, kuadratic regression, double moving average, and double exponential smoothing. The result from the best forecasting method is used as an input for aggreagate planning, this planning used trial and error method to get the minimum cost. The strategy that is used in aggreagate planning are Chase Strategy, Level Strategy, and Mixed Strategy. From the calculation, mixed strategy has the minimum cost with the total cost for golf gloves is Rp.120.610.916,00 and the total cost for batting gloves is Rp. 120.428.983,00. After that the calculation from the aggreagate should be put into the Master Production Schedule(MPS). The MPS must be tested first whether it can be applied in the company or not, it can be test with the calculation of Rough Cut Capacity Planning using Capacity Bill Method. The Last step is to calculate the Material Requirement Planning using 3 method : Lot for lot, Economic order Quantity, and Period order Quantity.
