T Tingginya break loading dan waiting time dalam proses shipping batubara menyebabkan inefisiensi dan potensi demurrage yang signifikan. penelitian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan aktivitas non-value added dan non-necessary non-nalue added, serta meningkatkan value added melalui pendekatan lean supply chain. metode yang digunakan adalah value stream mapping untuk pemetaan aliran proses dan identifikasi pemborosan, serta simulasi promodel untuk pengujian skenario perbaikan. hasil menunjukkan bahwa skenario 5 kombinasi digitalisasi dokumen, pengaturan shift kerja, dan peningkatan armada berhasil menurunkan waktu loading dari 8,83 menjadi 3,44 hari, discharge dari 9,42 menjadi 3,70 hari, serta meningkatkan process cycle efficiency dari 46% menjadi 75%. optimalisasi ini menempatkan seluruh proses di bawah ambang batas demurrage, menandakan peningkatan signifikan dalam efisiensi operasional, pengurangan biaya, dan peningkatan produktivitas sistem shipping batubara.
T The high break loading and waiting time in the coal shipping process causes inefficiency and significant demurrage potential. this study aims to optimize non-value added and non-necessary non-nalue added activities, as well as increase value added through a lean supply chain approach. the methods used are value stream mapping for process flow mapping and waste identification, as well as promodel simulation for testing improvement scenarios. the results showed that scenario 5 combination of document digitization, work shift arrangement, and fleet improvement managed to reduce loading time from 8.83 to 3.44 days, discharge from 9.42 to 3.70 days, and increase process cycle efficiency from 46% to 75%. this optimization puts the entire process below the demurrage threshold, signifying significant improvements in operational efficiency, cost reductions, and increased productivity of the coal shipping system.
