S Salah satu tantangan utama dalam operasi pengeboran adalah stabilitas lubang bor ketika menghadapi formasi shale yang reaktif . formasi cisubuh dan cibulakan atas di lapangan x mengandung shale yang cenderung mengalami swelling dan dispersi saat kontak dengan fluida berbasis air, yang berpotensi menyebabkan peningkatan viskositas lumpur, bit balling, serta kenaikan biaya operasional akibat non-productive time (npt). penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas lumpur pengeboran berbasis air (water-based mud, wbm) yang dimodifikasi dengan metode double salt polyamine dalam mengendalikan masalah pembengkakan dan dispersi shale di lapangan x.metodologi penelitian melibatkan uji laboratorium terhadap formulasi lumpur dengan berbagai variasi konsentrasi polyamine dan kombinasi garam (nacl dan kcl). evaluasi dilakukan melalui uji swelling, uji dispersi, dan uji akresi terhadap cutting shale dari formasi cisubuh dan cibulakan atas. hasil yang diharapkan menunjukkan bahwa metode double salt polyamine mampu meningkatkan stabilitas lubang bor dibandingkan dengan lumpur berbasis kcl polymer konvensional.hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam optimasi formulasi lumpur pengeboran yang lebih efektif dan ekonomis untuk kondisi shale reaktif. dengan penerapan metode double salt polyamine, operator pengeboran diharapkan dapat mengurangi risiko ketidakstabilan sumur dan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional di lapangan x.
O One of the primary challenges in drilling operations is maintaining wellbore stability when encountering reactive shale formations. in field x, the cisubuh and upper cibulakan formations contain shale that tends to swell and disperse upon contact with water-based fluids. this interaction can lead to increased mud viscosity, bit balling, and elevated operational costs due to non-productive time (npt).this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a modified water-based mud (wbm) system incorporating the double salt polyamine method in mitigating shale swelling and dispersion issues in field x.the research methodology involves laboratory testing of various mud formulations with differing concentrations of polyamine and combinations of salts (nacl and kcl). evaluations are conducted through swelling tests, dispersion tests, and accretion tests on shale cuttings from the cisubuh formation. the anticipated outcomes suggest that the double salt polyamine method can enhance wellbore stability compared to conventional kcl polymer-based muds. the findings are expected to contribute to the optimization of more effective and economical drilling fluid formulations for reactive shale conditions. by implementing the double salt polyamine method, drilling operators aim to minimize wellbore instability risks and improve operational efficiency in field x.
