A Abstraktujuan – tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh innovation capabilities, core competencies, dan organizational culture terhadap organizational performance rumah sakit tni angkatan darat yang dimediasi oleh strategic flexibility.metode penelitian – penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian kausal. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pejabat struktural di empat belas rumah sakit tni angkatan darat tingkat ii dengan jumlah populasi 476 personel. jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 224 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner tertutup dalam format google form. analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan structural equation modelling (sem) menggunakan software smart pls versi 3.0.hasil – penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa innovation capabilities, core competencies, dan organizational culture berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap organizational performance, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui strategic flexibility. selain itu, strategic flexibility juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap organizational performance, serta memediasi hubungan antara ketiga variabel independen tersebut dengan kinerja organisasi rumah sakit.implikasi dan keterbatasan penelitian – penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi manajemen rumah sakit, khususnya dalam memperkuat kemampuan berinovasi, mengembangkan kompetensi inti, dan membangun budaya organisasi yang adaptif untuk mendukung fleksibilitas strategis. strategi tersebut diyakini mampu meningkatkan daya saing dan efektivitas pelayanan rumah sakit di lingkungan tni ad. namun, keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada fokus hanya pada rumah sakit tni angkatan darat dan tidak membandingkan dengan institusi lain, serta pendekatannya yang sepenuhnya kuantitatif sehingga belum menangkap dimensi kualitatif dari perilaku organisasi secara mendalam.orisinalitas – penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dan praktis dalam pengembangan manajemen strategis rumah sakit militer dengan mengintegrasikan innovation capabilities, core competencies, organizational culture, dan strategic flexibility dalam satu model utuh yang menjelaskan peningkatan organizational performance secara berkelanjutan.kata kunci:innovation capabilities, core competencies, organizational culture, organizational performance, strategic flexibility, rumah sakit tni angkatan darat
A Abstractobjectives – the main objective of this study is to analyze the influence of innovation capabilities, core competencies, and organizational culture on the organizational performance of indonesian army hospitals, mediated by strategic flexibility.research method – this study employed a quantitative approach using causal research design. the population consisted of structural personnel from fourteen level ii indonesian army hospitals, totaling 476 individuals. a sample of 224 respondents was selected using purposive sampling. data were collected through a structured, closed-ended questionnaire distributed via google form. the data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (sem) with smartpls version 3.0.findings – the results reveal that innovation capabilities, core competencies, and organizational culture have a positive and significant influence on organizational performance, both directly and indirectly through strategic flexibility. furthermore, strategic flexibility has a positive and significant impact on organizational performance and serves as a mediating variable between the independent variables and performance outcomes.implications and limitations – this study provides valuable managerial implications, especially for hospital leadership, by emphasizing the importance of fostering innovation, enhancing core competencies, and cultivating an adaptive organizational culture to support strategic flexibility. these internal capabilities are crucial for improving competitiveness and the effectiveness of healthcare services within the indonesian army hospitals. however, the study is limited to the army hospital context and does not include comparisons with other healthcare institutions. additionally, the exclusively quantitative approach limits deeper exploration of qualitative organizational behaviors.originality – this research contributes both theoretically and practically to the development of strategic management in military healthcare organizations by integrating innovation capabilities, core competencies, organizational culture, and strategic flexibility into a comprehensive model that explains sustainable improvements in organizational performance.keywords:innovation capabilities, core competencies, organizational culture, organizational performance, strategic flexibility, army hospitals
